What does stamp duty add in NSW?

Revenue NSW charges 9% on general insurance. Some classes, such as commercial vehicle cover, have a small business exemption for businesses with turnover under $2 million, so ask our partner whether it affects a registered machine. Your indication includes it, so the figure you see is already right for your state. Stamp duty on insurance in every state.

Machines on the road in NSW

Transport for NSW handles conditional and seasonal registration, and tractors have their own vehicle sheet. The form asks whether a machine is unregistered, conditionally registered or fully registered. How conditional registration works.

What’s covered, wherever you are

The cover is the same in every state: sudden and unforeseen damage, theft and total loss, for the equipment listed on your schedule. Machinery breakdown from a defect and private use aren’t covered. The price for the whole term, up to five years, is set on day one, and the insured value is 100% in years 1 and 2, then a 10% depreciation is applied each year from year 3. What the policy covers.

Can one policy cover machines in different states?

Yes. Items on a policy can be in different states and have different registration. If the machines are based in more than one state, tell our partner when they contact you.
